| Today at work, a lady stopped me while I was helping her and said: "I'm going to give you some advice. Don't worry about anything and enjoy everything while you can. You never know when it could end."
I know I'm not the first person to hear this piece of advice, but something about the look in her eyes and the aura of my surroundings made me realize how true it is. In the midst of holiday confusion and grocery environment, I stopped and thought about how I definitely do not do what she suggested.
To be able to let go of things that keep you down and to enhance those that keep you up- that'd be an ideal Christmas present.

| This semester can't be described with words. When I headed back to West Lib for the Fall... I wasn't happy. I didn't think things were going to go well, I wasn't motivated, and I didn't want summer to end at all. Despite these ill feeling and certain events that I've had to deal with, the semester has gone pretty well. I've realized just how much I appreciate the friends and family that I love dearly. Things have definitely gone unexpectedly, but sometimes I think that happens for the best.
Time has gone by so quickly, though. It's hard to believe it's going to be December in a few days. But I have no regrets, only glad to see things moving along in what is hopefully a good direction. Soon i'll be finishing up finals and returning to work. It's a viscous cycle, really. I think bouncing back and forth between worlds is good for me, though. I'm trying to not be stressed or worried about things that are out of my control. Hopefully the next few weeks will go well for me and everyone else.
Happy Holidays...
